Transformed from extreme pain and sickness to good health
By Barbara Cook
We immigrated to New Zealand in 1984. A year later I was diagnosed with significant levels of weed and herbicide poisons in my body after contracting chronic Candida and ME. In these last few years I never did think my condition could be transformed from extreme pain and sickness to good health.
Health condition in 1987
Remedies used during period 1987 1989
Health condition 1987 to 1990
In 1991 I was first diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. (IBS)
The pain in my hands and feet became almost unbearable and the joint swelling made them look deformed. I was also told I had rheumatoid arthritis at this time.
At the end of 1991 I was diagnosed as suffering from Fibromyalgia. However this was never explained to me and we thought it was something like fibrositis.
At the end of 1991 on a scale of 1 to 5, where ‘1’ is really really bad/severe and ‘5’ is more than acceptable and life is good, I would rate my Pain, Movement and Quality of life indices as being ‘2’ to ‘3’s.
Health Condition 1991 to 1996
I suffered with IBS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), headaches, arthritis, pains in my back and legs and stomach. Often on awaking I would have swollen eyes. I slept very badly most nights. My outlook and disposition towards life was not good and I felt that life was just too hard. The only thing that kept me going was my faith in God.
Health Condition 1997 to 1999
Much of the same as before but now I had more severe stomach pains and chest pains and pains in my left side with each breath. I went to hospital for an I.B.S review and had many blood tests but none showed reasons for the pain. I took many supplements throughout this period. I NEVER felt well. I never had much energy.
Health Condition 2000 , 2001 and up to Present March 2002
By this stage of my life I was in a bad place as I suffered with chronic pain and discomfort daily and never felt able to cope with the day that lay ahead. Everything I did gave me pain no matter what I was doing. Fatigue was taking over and I could not make it through a day without a sleep. I also thought I had broken ribs because the pain in my chest and back were chronic. By this stage I was covered in brown spots all over my lower legs and smaller ones on my arms and face.
Severe headache, pains in hands and feet…unable to open jars or peel vegetables because of the pain in my hands. I would bandage my hand so that I could not use them as the pain was so bad. I found it very difficult to write without pain. I would awake tired with swollen eyes and much pain. It would take me more than an hour to surface because moving first thing in the morning was very unbearable.
Often I could not think clearly and was not able to express myself for lack or words. I was very frustrated at how I was feeling. I cried often. My muscles were so painful one would have thought I had run for miles. I had stiffness and pain in various parts of my body every day. I never had a moments rest from pain.
If I did anything like vacuum or sweep or clean windows or bend, I just suffered for days. By this stage my full rib cage, front and back, was extremely painful every morning of my life. So much so that I thought I must have broken my ribs and went for an x-ray. NO BROKEN RIBS. I also went for many scans and back into hospital with I.B.S. and a good look to see if anything was wrong inside because of my pain. Every test came back negative. In October 2001 after many tests, x-rays, physiotherapy, scans and many Doctors visits I was once more diagnosed as having Fibromyalgia. This time my condition was explained to me fully. IBS was again confirmed. But then I knew that because I had been told that back in 1991.
I was told that there was no cure for Fibromyalgia but I may be able to reduce the pain level by 5 to 10 % with certain exercise and reducing stress in my life and could go to a clinic to learn how to manage pain better. A physiologist would help too. In short the plan was that I would have to learn to live with Fibromyalgia for the rest of my life and try to manage everything that goes with it. Needless to say that this left me in despair.
A friend came to visit me and told me about Colostrum. (My husband looked on the internet and we saw a lot of very interesting information) I wrote the name down but thought “not another thing to try”. Two weeks later I was feeling so terribly ill that I started using Colostrum just before Christmas 2001.
It is necessary for me to say that my husband and family and friends were very worried about me. They thought that I must be suffering from something that would be terminal. My family did not know which way to turn for help.
Within two weeks of taking Colostrum I had a faint glimpse of change but was too scared to hope it was for real. As the weeks went on it became easier and easier for me to get up in the morning and start the day. Then after one month the terrible grip around my rib cage eased considerably. Again I felt too scared to hope that it would last. Within a further week that severe rib cage pain was faintly in the background.
At this point which was 7th February 2002 I changed the daily dose from capsules to powder and took a larger dose than before. At end of March 2002 I not only felt much better but I can now do ordinary things like peel vegies and write without pain. The swelling in my hands is so reduced that I believe that my hands will heal completely in time. No more headaches, very few muscle pains. I have energy and feel like living again. I can open jars that have been opened before and I know that I will be able to open “new” jars in the future. Everything has changed for the better and I believe by all the positive changes that I have experienced that I will become completely well once more. My husband and family and friends have all said how well and healthy I look now.
I have been ill for many years and it may take many months or even some years for my body to change completely but I have to say that Colostrum is the very best thing that has ever happened to me. I have recommended it to so many people as they have asked me “WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU, YOU HAVE CHANGED, YOU LOOK SO WELL”.
It is all thanks to Colostrum and I will be telling my Dr of this wonderful miracle cure for Fibromyalgia. My experience is that it has helped with my IBS, my Chronic Fatigue, Rheumatoid Arthritis and all the other difficulties I have been experiencing all these years. I have such an improved sense of wellness. It is almost difficult for me or anyone else to believe all these positive changes that have taken place since I have been taking Colostrum.
On the scale of 1 to 5 for Pain, Movement and Quality of Life I now rate my indices as high as 4’s and know that I will be 5’s again in the near future. (1 is really severe and 5 is more than acceptable and life is good.)
I can say this with confidence - Colostrum has done wonders for me. I have personally experienced the changes in my own body. Compared to a year ago I am now transforming from being in extreme pain and sickness to good health.
Colostrum is the ONLY solution that has worked for me. Nothing else has had this healing effect on me and I have tried them all.
